50's Diner - Ripley Ohio
5 of us stopped in for brunch on Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised. Fried chicken Special for Bros. Wes & Tommy, Home made version of white castles using real meat for Bro. Bruce and my choice was the chicken fried steak & fries topped with cream gravy. Bro. Jeff opted for the "lite" choice of the cold plate - mayo & starch 5 ways Believe they had 3-5 kinds of homemade pies.
Waitress was experienced and friendly.
Cook starts her day at 3:30 am so you can trust it is made right.
Prices were quite fair - especially since Bro. Jeff picked up the tab

It was Jamie, I can't believe the Wingers took us to Micky D's on Saturday.

Two observations regarding McDonald's stop on Saturday...I quickly noted that they were so full in their parking lot that me dragging a trailer wouldn't fit anywhere so I was relegated to street parking...Burger King next door hardly had anyone in their parking lot..must be the locals know something as I would normally choose BK...
50's Diner was good eatin'...Bruce was wondering if I was in love with mayo as everything I ordered contained it...just a coincidence I think...Fred ordered the meal I used to eat all the time...chicken fried steak with enough gravy to cover everything...yummmm......Plenty of easy parking for bikes and right on the main drag close to our bridge crossing to get into Kentucky..what a great bunch of roller coaster roads on the KY side...awesome...Best weekend of riding I've ever had
