1800 Board
I've been a member over there since 2009, but never really read the boards til I bought my Wing.
Why didn't y'all tell me how freakin' hilarious some of those crusty old farts can be, bitchin' about nothing!!!!
And after reading the Darkside subforum.... Ducbob has got to be just one post away from sayin' "You'll die in a ball of flames!!!!"

Yeah they equally hate everyone on that board. The guys you directed me to talk to about the BridgeStone REALLY seem to know their stuff.

Not yet. Did you lay your Wing down to pull the tire??? I don't think I can do that ..... kinda skeered. I did find a place to mount it ... I just hate to waste the great weather we are having.

Doesn't the oil travel to places it shouldn't when you lay it on its side?

Doesn't seem to be a problem Len. A few have suggested doing it when the fuel level is low.Len wrote:Doesn't the oil travel to places it shouldn't when you lay it on its side?
I laid mine over on some old rubber floor mats I had, just to keep from scratching any chrome.
Watch this you tube video on how to lay it over. It is easy peasy!

Actually she was watching me struggle and suggested I pull on that doo-hickey to see if it would make a difference...I have to admit she was correct...butt I immediately sent her back to the kitchen to avoid further embarassment

Len - I got a pack of the foam tiles they sell for kids playroom floors that interlock together - I put one under each of the bars - also handy to lay on when changing oil etc.

I don't have much extra cash to buy an extra wheel right now ...
There is a place about 12 miles from here that sells Dyna Beads ... they are double the price of DLP but no shipping .. I hope to get it installed this week ... depends on the weather

Don't worry Melon, unlike ORANGE wings, Yellow ones don't ever need any work. (especially since they hardly ever leave the driveway)
